#3 Jaccka Justy was massive last start he put in a huge performance after making a mistake, turning for home he was widest on the track making up significant ground, small field should be a huge help; if he trots he is going to be very hard to run down.  1st $2.10 1.50.  Quinella $4.70
#7 King Charlie was really good last start he was making good ground up in the middle of the pack, he is a hard horse to catch but when right he has proven he has game; quinella.
#2 Rhythmic Sun is honest and off the front he is a chance to land the top and perhaps trail; combinations.  2nd $2.70

#3 Texican was brilliant when racing at Auckland against the big guns this is easier that is for sure, nice draw to make use of today; simply should be far too good.  1st $1.50 1.20.  Quinella $2.00.  Trifecta $28.00
#4 Buy Chevron Direct has been getting it done, up against a good one tonight but a serious quinella player.  2nd $1.30
#5 Arden’s Southee deserved his win at Nelson on the 2^nd day after being unlucky day one, this is tough but he is race fit and in good form; place.  3rd $4.50

#1 Shezaball was very good last start she waited with a sit and let down on the outside chasing home a smart horse, from this draw she is a chance to trail the trip; cheeky win option.
#8 Castellina Lover has been getting it done in her only two starts this is a bit tougher for her and from the draw she will have to work, certainly looks a classy animal though; include.  1st $1.70 1.20.  Quinella $5.50
#2 Vanilla Rose was really good 4^th against some smart fillies then she backed up with a sound 2^nd, she is likely to do the work here; value.  2nd $1.80

#2 Ohoka Texas is stringing them along here, serious race horse who loves bowling along in front, he has had one stand for one win which gives a bit of confidence but that would be the only worry; if he steps he should win.  1st $1.40 1.20
#8 Rangataua Ray really impressed fresh up they ran a fast last 800m he was wide and making an impression on the winner.  Improvement should be found for this outing, if anyone is going to test the favourite this bloke has raced the good ones and done a job; upset.
#7 Artiface was outstanding last start winning on this track, this is harder he won’t get things exactly his way, race fit and in form; combinations.  3rd $1.50

#7 Canardly Lover looked average last start but if you take into consideration he was fresh up and the fact they went 2-41.5 you can see why he was getting tired.  He will improve on that outing we know he is classy, stick with.
#8 Bettor’s Brigadier was bold last start but a very hard horse to follow if he produces a similar run this trip you would have to think he is a chance; talented but still a risk.
#3 Better Than Money is super honest and tough he hasn’t really had things go his way he tends to do a stack of work in the running, this is a good field but he is in form; combinations.

#8 San Rafaella was really good last outing when running 2^nd but sensational winning prior, the draw is the same which doesn’t worry me and with Jumpforjoy inside of her she will be forcing the issue so expect the speed to be on; big show.  3rd $1.50
#7 Jumpforjoy was good last start she loves this distance she hasn’t been out of the money, wide draw worries me she will have to do plenty of work against some handy ones; include.
#1 Kusadasi was close to Jumpforjoy last start her draw is a huge assist; place.

#13 Spectacular is a serious race horse he is very smart, fresh up is the only concern but he has been to the workouts last week where he was a fair way off the winner but they came home sharply.  He has the wood over this bunch but off the 20m big field not sure if I could take the shorts which are likely to be on offer.  2nd $1.70
#8 Onedin Classic was tidy winning at Nelson they didn’t go much time but she showed she can zip home; value.  1st $6.00 2.10.  Quinella $8.50
#12 Monaghan is another fit race horse who comes off the back of racing stronger horses; luck is going to be required from here.
