#10 Kensington Kate. A sound start to the career so far and shown a bit of toughness at Ashburton. Looks to lack a touch of speed but should hit the line well from a cold sit today. 4th

#6 James Dean. Tough type who closed well on show day after being driven cold at the rear of the field. The draw and handicaps look favourable today. A front running effort would be his best chance so look for an aggressive drive early. 2nd $1.50
