#8 The Foot Tapper. A sound bet given the stand start manners which are generally very good. Led and then trailed Doctor Bones last week and hits a weaker looking line-up today. Can lob the front and have options late. Each-way. 1st $4.90 2.10 ($7.50 Fixed Win)

#5 Enghien. Quality type who looks the stand out here given his recent Auckland form. Should be settled early and asked for his quality with some distance to go. 1st $1.20 1.00. Quinella $1.50
#6 President Roydon. Showing good ability but comes up against a nice one tonight. Looks the latter part of the quinella. 2nd $1.50

#8 Elle Mac. The last start win had class act written all over it. Wide barrier so this will test her. The way she races you've got to think she'll head forwards towards the front early anyway. 4th
#4 Dizzy Miss Lizzy. May not be too far away from the other favoured runners in this. Good recent workout. The bolter and not without a small winning chance either. 1st $12.30 2.50

#4 Spankem. Valiant effort from parked last week and never really gave things away in the run home. He may try to wrestle the lead early here and get things his own way tonight. On top. 1st $2.30 1.30
#3 Alta Maestro. Going good races from on the speed and that looks the likely scenario tonight too. Serious contender if able to hand and then settle early. 4th

#12 Spanish Armada. Got the right sort of run last week but did things well and should be better for it too. Coming right back into top form. Go again. 1st $1.80 1.30. Quinella $1.70
#6 Bonnie Joan. Arguably the run of the race last week and is bound to use her early speed tonight. Tough as anything in this affair but does come up against the All Stars factor. 2nd $1.30
