SELECTIONS RUNNING IN THE FIRST FOUR POSITIONS 8

Course: Addington

Surface: All weather

One of the biggest nights on the calendar at Addington on Friday night with the features coming thick and fast throughout the night. Quality fields that should make for some fast sectionals. I've endeavoured to give a little more information on some races tonight as this truly is a sensational night of racing.

R1
#4 Eden Franco
. A very even looking maiden field with some quality types in this. I do like this filly and think the key to her will be the 2600m trip. Was only beaten down South after being held-up rounding the final bend. The previous run was full of merit from off the speed and all her trial form leading into this campaign had been sound. Each-way claims.   2nd $1.70

R3
#13 Torrid Bromac
. Useful from off the speed last week in a super time. The second line draw is fine here for me given he's off the outside of the line and should be able to find his feet early. He's shown a good ability to work in his races and still be a factor late. Each-way. 1st $12.60 2.90 ($16/ 3.40 fixed odds)

R4
#5 Pacing Major
. Appears the quality on race form and sectionals he's been running in the North. The small field means he could well be given a cold sit and still be a big chance of getting over the top of them. Strong chance.  1st $1.10 1.00.  Quinella $2.40.
#1 King Solomon. High speed type who was driven against that strength on debut but was still sound running home strongly. Comes up with the #1 draw and may be able to hold the lead and hand to the one he wants. Mark sticks with him here. Look for him late on the pegs.  2nd $2.70 (3.00 fixed place)

R7
#7 Monbet
. Bet of the night. Super when fresh last week and that was the race he could have been beaten in. Very hard to see him getting rolled tonight off the mobile start.  1st $1.30 1.00

R8
#11 Lazarus
. Got off the canvas to down Classie Brigade late last week and you get the feeling he'll only improve over the extra distance. He's been the best for some time and should continue the winning ways tonight.  1st $1.20 1.00.  Quinella $1.70
#1 Classie Brigade. Brave effort last week and lobs the #1 draw although I do think he'll be crossed early and have to work around a couple to get to the lead again. Much improved of late and can put up another good run tonight. 2nd $1.40

R9
#1 Le Reveur
. I liked the run last week and his manners are sound which can't be said for a few of his race rivals at the moment. Should remain on the marker line and hit the line well late. Place bets are preferred.  2nd $1.90 ($3.20 place fixed)
