Best Bets
Race One #8 Elle Mac
Race Three # 7 Sweet On Me

Best Value / Outside
Race Five #1 Lotamuscle
Race Eight #8 Winterfell

R1 12.15 WOODLANDS 4YO DIAMOND (MOBILE PACE) (Gr1)
$150,000, 4YO MARES, 1980m

#8 Elle Mac. Most probably one of the better bets of the day. Drawn poorly which would be my main concern but given the field and its lack of open class types I do believe this horse will be able to work mid-race and be a very strong chance to still win. 1st $1.10 1.00

R3 1.29 TERROR TO LOVE 'JEWELS WINNER' 2YO DIAMOND (MOBILE PACE) (Gr1)
$150,000, 2YO FILLIES, 1980m

#7 Sweet On Me. The class of this field who comes up with a poor draw but has the ability to overcome this field. Has impressed so far and does look the top filly in this age group. 1st $1.60 1.20. Quinella $6.10
#10 Amazing Dream. Bullied race rivals from the Dunn barn last week so must go in ahead of them despite the second row draw. Looks the main threat to the stablemate. 3rd $1.20
#6 Tiffany Rose. Will most probably look for the front early n an attempt to dictate the race for the Dunn barn. Strong dam-line has produced another nice filly here. Respect. 4th
Other considerations. Include Lulu Le Mans and Spellbound in your thoughts for trifectas.

R4 2.03 MCMILLAN EQUINE FEEDS 2YO EMERALD (MOBILE PACE) (Gr1)
$150,000, 2YO COLTS & GELDINGS, 1980m

#6 One Change. Looking to continue the picket-fence form-line and will get his chance to do so from this draw. May be better from a running line sit though. The All Stars will look to dictate the race from the front I'd imagine. Strong winning chance.  1st $1.40 1.10. Quinella $1.60
#10 Flying Even Bettor. As we outlined in our initial jewels podcast we do believe this horse to the best two year old in this crop. The draw isn't ideal but also isn't the worst thing for his racing style. Super last start effort in blistering time. Can take this but it'll be tough from this marble.  2nd $1.20

R6 3.13 COMMODORE HOTEL 3YO DIAMOND (MOBILE PACE) (Gr1)
$150,000, 3YO FILLIES, 1980m

#5 Princess Tiffany. The race of the day when it comes down to a two horse war. It's in Zac Butchers best interests to hand up here I believe. The question will be can Belle Of Montana trail Princess Tiffany and beat her up the lane? 2nd $1.00
#1 Belle Of Montana. The draw is perfect and she does have the tactical speed advantage over most here. Likely to trail and be a strong threat late.  1st $2.40 1.10.  Quinella $1.40

R7 3.53 IRT 4YO EMERALD (MOBILE PACE) (Gr1)
$150,000, 4YO GELDINGS & ENTIRES, 1980m

#4 Turn It Up. Has a big motor and proven at the top level. Comes up with options from the draw as he'll also follow speed all day. Looms as being very tough to toss here. 1st $1.20 1.00.  Quinella $4.50
#1 Henry Hubert. High speed horse with the perfect draw. He may well be able to give them something to think about early but it's not in his interest to attempt to lead up as he'll be run down late anyway. The best chance he has is to hand early and follow the speed from the trail or 3 pegs. Nice horse. Respect. 2nd $2.40
Other considerations.  3rd / 4th positions look a little more open. Nandolo 3rd $10.80 could be the surprise for 4th? Include the Aussie raider in thoughts too as he'll look to go forward early.

R8 4.33 MCMILLAN EQUINE FEEDS 4YO RUBY (MOBILE TROT) (Gr1)
$125,000, 4YO, 1980m

#4 Sundees Son. A good race here with plenty of points of view. This horse has to be on top. He's capable of running very good times and is the rowe cup winner. Must be on top here. 1st $2.20 1.40.  Quinella $4.30
#10 Majestic Man. High speed horse that is drawn to follow them around here. Can get into things late here but it does look hard for him to overcome the draw if all the main contenders trot soundly.  4th
#8 Winterfell. The All Stars are going to play bully here I believe. They know that Sundees Son can gallop under pressure so they'll look to apply it at some point during this race. I've never seen a All Stars runner hit out at trials more than Winterfell a couple of weeks ago at Ashburton... sound win last time out against inferior opposition. 2nd $1.60

R9 5.13 BLUE STAR TAXIS 3YO EMERALD (MOBILE PACE) (Gr1)
$150,000, 3YO COLTS & GELDINGS, 1980m

An interesting and slightly more open race than the rest of the fields today.
#5 Jesse Duke. He's been racing against open class horses and not doing a bad of things. Should be able to be work into things and still be a factor. On top in an open field.  1st $1.60 1.20
