Addington races on Thursday night with a good card for us to take in. I've thrown the bat a little tonight as there's some strong trial form that I believe will carry through to decent race results tonight. Manners key in the 2yr old obviously. Strong night of racing and one that I'm looking forward to.

#12 Chittybangbang. Has trialled up well for this fresh-up effort. A recent Rangiora trial caught the eye finishing fast up the inner behind Delightful Memphis. He was a nice 2yr old who should have benefitted from time away from the track. Barron gets them going early. Appears the quality of this field. Strong each-way claims. 1st $1.90 1.20. Quinella $6.60
#4 Lucky Three. Denied when using the passing lane late last start behind Martin John. Race conditions are suitable with the only question mark being the early speed of Patrick Bee who may well look to take an early lead also. Racing better this time in. Deserves respect. 2nd $2.00

#6 Habibi Inta. I've liked what I've seen of him so far as he's got plenty of scope about him and obviously is royally bred. May lack a touch of speed as he looks like a 3yr old already and may need time. Sound over 2600m recently which is a testament to his ability given his age. Follow closely. 1st $1.90 1.00.

#2 Idealindiamonds. Produced a very sound last 400m at Rangiora last week to beat Bella Jones with some ease late. The stand is favoured over the mobiles and the fresh record is outstanding. While this is a tidy field I do think he's a capable sort who can win again. Strong each-way. 1st $2.70 1.50

#7 Clover Mac. Nice run last week from parked on a slow tempo. Noted stand start exponent again who should settle close to the speed. Knocking on the door after being downgraded recently. Can win at decent odds. 2nd $2.50
