The first day of the 2 day swing on Friday afternoon from Nelson. Some of the favoured runners have drawn well here so we're unfortunately looking at some short prices. Again I've given thoughts on how to best punt into these short priced horses.

#2 Allison Stokke. Drawn well and comes in here in good form against far stronger fields . No Dream About Me in this field! Gavin Smith goes alright on this circuit too. Looks a leading chance 1st $2.50 1.20

#3 Feel Reel. I'm continuing my faith in her after viewing her recent workouts again. Never looked at home in the slush at Rangiora last start and was off the speed throughout. I'd like to see Sam Ottley have a dip for the lead early in this. Value. 1st $44.00 7.00

How could we play it.
I'd have a short looking first four. The #1 on top along with 2,3,4,9 and 10. Possibly have a small cover with the #1 running 2nd. The #13 could go in for 4th if you've got a little more in the kitty.
