Grouse little horse this that just hasn't had things go his way, his last outing was strong went three wide and sat there without cover for a good portion of the last lap, stuck on well. He has to be in the thick of this even though the Canterbury raiders are down; Each Way. 2nd $1.30

#7 MAJOR BEN. A touch disappointing last outing but he was fresh up and he was forced widest turning for home. Expect improvement after that run. 3rd $1.20
#16 HEAVEN ROCKS. Big slab of a horse won nicely on the grass in a recent work out, he will have to work from this draw but I get the feeling this guy isn't lacking in the motor department. 1st $2.90 1.50. Quinella $15.30. Trifecta $44.80
#2 FIDDLETHEFOOL. Disappointing last time he will have to be better than that but he has the draw to get an economical run; include. 2nd $1.90

#8 SWAMP MAJOR. Wide draw should only help bump up his price he is a lovely horse and the longer trip of 2700m should only help his chances. 2nd $1.00
#14 MOONROCK. I like this guy he had a nice hit out on the grass last outing he is ready for this, barrier draw only fair but he will get put in the race with Clark on board. 1st $34.90 5.00. Quinella $34.70.
