#4 Baker Creek. Has been so consistent of late and this looks like a nice field for her. Options from the draw but can also let down late if taken back. Each-way claims. 3rd $1.50

#3 Fringe Benefit. Looks to be one of the strongest chances of the day given the Rangiora effort which was sound. Does have gate-speed so may look to lead them up over the shorter distance here. Strong each-way claims. 1st $3.60 1.50 ($5.10 2.10 Fixed Odds)

#6 Mad Lu Li. I think Katie Cox will look to lead early here as this horse can be very tough to get past. The Geraldine run was fine given the strong last sectionals. I expect a good performance today. 1st $5.90 1.80

#3 Doitson. Has been impressive over the last month or so and tends to be one of the first away from the tapes. Closed well in a good field last week at Methven and can win this if able to jump to the lead and trail mid-race. 4th
