A nice enough twilight meeting for us today at Rangiora on the grass. Some interesting fields too which should provide some decent form going forward too.

#6 Clifden Clowers. Made a mess of things last start and was never in things. Does have a decent stand start record and would only need to get away to a decent start today to be a factor over the short distance here. 1st $5.30 2.10 (8.20 fixed)

#3 Stompem. A good front running type who was shuffled too far back on the pegs at Banks but found the line alright. Comes into a nice field which has limited depth to it here. Should provide a very good sight in this. 1st $2.80 1.70 ($4.50 Fixed Win)

#5 Kotare Costa. Going sound races without a lot of luck lately. The Banks run was sound too. I'd like to see a slightly more aggressive drive today. Strong claims. 1st $2.00 1.50 ($3.00 Fixed Win)
