#1 FREDDIESAM. Cast off from the Purdon barn that comes up with the ace draw and a drop in class. Going to go close. 2nd $1.50

#12 SLATE. High quality race horse that has been trialing up nicely leading into his fresh performance. Probably trained by my favourite trainer down south, he will be ready but oh boy Allen Beck is struggling at the moment has only driven two winners this season so factor that into the quote; Each Way. 2nd $1.70
R8 - 4.10PM
#3 MIGHT BE ME. Same combination as the previous selections so Allen might double his win total in one day. This filly mare was disqualified last outing when going to win for fun against good opposition before galloping. Hard to hold out. 2nd $1.10
